1. Introduction

We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use iFeeding (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the data handling practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Baby Profile: Optional information you voluntarily enter, including your baby's name, birth date, gender, and delivery method. This data is stored entirely on your device and optionally synced to your personal iCloud account.
Feeding & Health Logs: Records of nursing, bottle feeding, diaper changes, sleep, and other activities that you manually input. These are stored locally on your device.
Media Files for AI Analysis: Images or videos you upload to use our AI-powered features:
- Food ingredient label photos (Ingredient Analysis)
- Baby crying videos (Baby Interpreter)
- Baby stool photos (Poop Analysis)
Chat Messages: Text messages you send to the Parenting Copilot AI assistant.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

Device Information: Device model, iOS version, and app version — used only to ensure compatibility and fix bugs.
Crash Logs: Diagnostic information collected automatically when the app encounters an error, to help us maintain stability.
Subscription Status: Whether you have an active premium subscription, managed entirely by Apple's StoreKit framework.
Weather Data: If you use weather-related features, the App requests current weather data from Apple WeatherKit using your approximate location. We do not store your location.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect the following:

Your real name or email address (no account registration is required)
Your phone number
Your precise GPS location
Your payment or credit card information (all purchases are handled by Apple)
Any data linked to your personal identity

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Core App Features

All data you enter (baby profile, feeding logs, health records) is stored locally on your device and optionally in your personal iCloud account via iCloud Drive. We do not have access to this data.

3.2 AI Analysis Services

When you use an AI feature, the relevant media file or message is transmitted securely to our AI service provider for processing:

Ingredient Analysis: Your food label photo is sent to Alibaba Cloud Bailian for analysis.
Baby Interpreter: Your baby's crying video is processed via Alibaba Cloud's AI service.
Poop Analysis: Your baby stool photo is sent to Alibaba Cloud Bailian for analysis.
Parenting Copilot: Your chat messages, along with relevant local context (such as recent feeding logs you choose to include), are sent to Alibaba Cloud's AI service to generate personalized responses.

These media files and messages are used solely to generate your analysis results. They will NOT be used to train AI models or shared with any other party.

3.3 Service Improvement

Anonymous crash logs help us identify and fix technical issues to ensure a stable and reliable experience.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.2 Media File Retention

Media files (photos and videos) you upload for AI analysis are automatically deleted from Alibaba Cloud servers within 7 days after the analysis is completed. You do not need to take any action.

4.3 Security Measures

All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption (TLS)
AI service calls are authenticated using secure API keys stored in the app
Local data is protected by iOS device encryption
iCloud data is protected by Apple's end-to-end encryption infrastructure

4.4 Data Deletion

All local data (baby profiles, feeding logs) can be deleted at any time directly within the App (Settings → Clear All Data)
iCloud data can be deleted from your iCloud Drive at any time
Media files uploaded for AI analysis are automatically purged after analysis
For any additional data deletion requests, contact us and we will complete deletion within 30 days

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Alibaba Cloud Bailian & DashScope

The App uses Alibaba Cloud Bailian and DashScope AI services to power the Baby Interpreter, Ingredient Analysis, Poop Analysis, and Parenting Copilot features. Media files and messages are transmitted to Alibaba Cloud for processing. Alibaba Cloud's privacy practices are governed by Alibaba Cloud's Privacy Policy.

5.2 Apple WeatherKit

The App uses Apple WeatherKit to display weather information relevant to your baby's care. Your approximate location is used to fetch weather data but is not stored by us. Weather attribution is displayed in the App as required by Apple. Apple's privacy practices apply to WeatherKit usage.

5.3 Apple (StoreKit & iCloud)

Subscription purchases and in-app payments are handled entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit
We never receive or process your payment information
iCloud backup is managed through your Apple ID and governed by Apple's privacy policy
For refund matters, please contact Apple Support directly

5.4 Data Sharing Policy

We do NOT sell, rent, or transfer your personal information to any third parties for commercial purposes.

The only exceptions are:

Transmitting media/messages to Alibaba Cloud solely to generate your requested AI analysis results
As required by applicable law or court order
To protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public

6. Children's Privacy

The App is designed to be used by parents and caregivers, not by children. The App records information about babies and infants at the discretion of their parents or guardians.

We do not intentionally collect personal information directly from children under 13
All data entry is performed by the parent or caregiver using the app
If you believe a child has inadvertently provided personal information, please contact us for deletion

7. Your Rights

Under applicable privacy laws, you have the following rights:

8. Policy Updates

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision
Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy
If you disagree with a material change, please stop using the App
